Re•Imag•Innova - EP

I’ve loosely followed Fireflight for some time and when I heard about this album (and previewed the songs) I fell in love with the new version of “Keep Fighting”. There aren’t many Christian rock bands doing anything that I have enjoyed lately and even though this is definitely a acoustic-type remix it’s really the type of music I love! Glad to have it!

I know many fans loved their new sounds with Innova, but personallly I wasn't too impressed. The only song I like from it is Here and Now, which I love. Their change to electronic beats turned me off; I am a big fan of their heavier, rocky style. Even their album Now had less rock in it than Unbreakable and For Those Who Wait, for example, but I quite like Now. And with Re-imag-Innova, I feel they recrafted five of their songs amazingly well. Much, much better sounding than Innova. I wish they'd mix more of their older, agressive rock with slower songs, like Unbreakable did perfectly, in my opinion. Overall well done Fireflight! I may not like every album you've made, but I still love you guys! God bless!

I have loved all of Fireflight's work, and I heard some of this album off their live Facebook stream. It sounds beautiful and I am so excited! Great work!
