Kiah Victoria just kills "Such Great Heights". Morgan James is simply spectacular singing "Take Me to Church".
  • Amazing job/approach to these already popular songs

I was absolutely surprised and floored how the remakes of these songs sounded. Giving these songs a jazz beat worked out so well.

There are 6 songs out of 12 on this album which I would call excellent. And it would not take much for me to revise that to 8 out of 12. How many albums can make that claim? I won't tell you which are my 6 (or 8), but suffice it to say that Morgan James and Haley Reinhart are outstanding singers (and even more entertaining on video -- Youtube). Oh, let's not forget Robyn Adele Anderson !!

I was thrilled when I discovered Postmodern Jukebox, and was initially most taken with some of their oldest work, mostly with Robyn (and Puddles). But I am getting more and more thrilled with the variety of vocalists and material. This music just makes me fantastically happy.
