The more you listen, the more you will enjoy this album. I feel it's very underrated and to be honest...I enjoy every single song. Go to Hell, I'm the Coolest, Didnt' We Meet, I Never Cry, Wake Me Gently...and the rest. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be "Wish You Were Here." Awesome!

My favorite album that Alice did without his original band. I love the variety and the strength of the material. We get hard rock songs like 'Go To Hell', ' Guilty' and 'Wish You Were Here' (which has nothing to do with the Pink Floyd of the same name), we get funny songs like 'I'm The Coolest' (my favorite song here) and 'Give The Kid a Break', and we get two great ballads in 'Wake Me Gently' and the big hit 'I Never Cry'. I like this album much better than it's predecessor Welcome To My Nightmare. It has more of a sense of humour about it. A very enjoyable, entertaining album.

Seems like a lot of reviewers are on the "Fast Train to Losersville" regarding Alice. This album is in the "Top Five" of all Alice Cooper albums!

I think this album is awesome! It tells a story in that campy way that only alice can deliver. There are no weak spots at all. If your looking for a concept to record to escape with this is the one.

Great title and cool album cover, but ultimately this was a disappointing follow up to Welcome to my Nightmare. Go to Hell and I'll Never Cry are Cooper classics, but the rest of the album is rather weak. This record began a more experimental phase that would carry Alice into the early 80's. His material during this time frame was very hit or miss. Happily he would eventually return to his hard rock roots.

Bought album because of the single "I Never Cry" Rocked My World When I First Heard It On The Radio And Song "Go To Hell" Was Ok, But The Rest Was Just Fillers To Complete The Album.
  • Good, but odd.

This is an interesting album. Many of the songs sound completely differently than what you would expect from an Alice Cooper album, and will probably surprise you. It takes several listenings to really appreciate it. I suggest it for any Cooper fan.

Not one of the more radio friendly albums he did, but still work checking out if you're a fan of bass master Tony Levin.

An interesting follow-up to 75's Welcome to My Nightmare, but the songs are really lacking something. Go to Hell, I Never Cry, Give the Kid a Break, and Guilty are the only songs on the album that I listen to on a regular basis because they are the songs on the album that really stand out. Only buy if you are an Alice enthusiast.
