Classic AC

This is a great album. Only one song doesn't deserve to be on here (IMO) and that's Teenage Lament '74, which is too fifties rock-n-roll for me. It doesn't include some of AC's classic long songs, like Halo Of Flies, Dead Babies and Unfinished Sweet, but most of the songs chosen are top notch. I love the artwork, too.

This is absolutely one of my favorite albums of all times. From I'm Eighteen to Muscle of Love, this album is jam packed with amazing Alice Cooper! Go Alice Cooper Show! Its a must have for any 70's rock collection!

It's hard to get too in-depth when reviewing a greatest hits collection. Obviously lots of great songs here. My only gripe is they included Teenage Lament '74 and Muscle of Love, yet no Ballad of Dwight Frye or Dead Babies. Great collection, and probably a good start for the uninitiated, but I would have tweaked the song selections just a bit.

I bought this 8-track tape in '74 as a 19 year old. What I always liked about it is that every song on it received radio play. There were no fillers, no down tracks. One of my all-time favorite albums, even though I'm not really a Cooper fan. I just rediscovered it here tonight after all these years and downloaded the album. This is going to take me back. What a great collection of hits.
