We all know Snoop doesn't write music so this album is mostly a Major Lazer album featuring Snoop on every track. Having said that, I still thought it was pretty dope and was excited to see if Snoop would stick to it and not just be a tourist of the genre, using it as a kindof publicity stunt. We don't need that kind of attention in reggae. Here we are in 2015 and he is about to release a funk album so I came back to rate this one low because we don't need tourists in reggae. You either play reggae or you don't. You are either Snoop Lion or you aren't. You my friend, are Snoop Dogg.

I've seen quite a bit of hating from Snoop fans who claim that Snoop stopped being a gangster rapper. THAT'S THE POINT OF THE ALBUM!!!! He wants to stop senseless blood shed within black communities. He wants to stop senseless murders that are provoked by the oppression that black communities have faced by rich white men. The culture of gangster rap is an aborted child born of oppression and drug induced cycles of poverty. If you can't understand that, then DO NOT buy this album. If you love peace and kindness towards your fellow human, then definitely buy this album.

Coming from a musician, this whole album is snoops masterpiece. The only bad thing on this entire album is drakes rap on no guns allowed... It's not terrible, but it's pretty bad. Overall, this one is one of the greats
