What a talent! Great guitar, great voice. Not only is she a superb high energy blues musician, but Feelin' Alright shows she can pull on your heart strings with a quiet jazz number.

I first saw Samantha perform at Jazzoo a fund raiser for the Kansas City Zoo. She was mesmerizing - solid and improving guitar-work and intense vocal presence. I later found her performing at some local BBQ joints in KC. Next thing you know she is touring Europe and winning BMA Best New Debut Artist. Once you have heard her, none of the accolades are surprising. I try to get to her concerts whenever I can. If you like the grammy winning Susan Tedeschi, you will find Samantha Fish equally as enjoyable. Highly recommended.

I just saw Samantha at Bethlehem Steelstacks Bluesfest. I was blown away by her guitar prowess and her powerful vocals. A definite, up and comer. Hope she comes to Philly sometime soon.

I first heard Samantha Fish perform at a bar and grill in the Kansas City area. As the band was setting up, I assumed she was maybe the daughter of someone in the band because she was, at the least, half the age of the guys setting up. Imagine my surprise when she strapped on her guitar, stepped up to the mike and started singing and playing some butt-kickin' blues! Her voice at times reminds me of Bonnie Raitt, Joss Stone and even at moments, Adele. Her guitar playing is strong, without being flashy or over theatrical. I like this album particularly because of the sparse production. You're getting Samantha's voice and instrumentals without smoke and mirrors. This young lady is the real deal!
