better, in my opinion, than joy or round room, but nowhere near as good as any of their earlier albums. phish, stop the pop rock and go back to being an ACTUAL JAM BAND. the longest song on this album is 6:31. for phish, that is just sad. i believe that they can bring themselves back if they release an album like their previous achievements. please, phish, i dont want to stop listening to ya.
Great Album

Although this album has mixed reviews. I really enjoy it. It is well
Put together and the lyrics are very deep for Phish. I think
(for the better or worse) it reflects exactly where Phish was in their career at that point. Worth buying.
Better off looking for versions of the songs you like here live

Try Scents from Camden '03, Tomorrow's Song from Albany 09, etc. The album itself is okay, but some of the live versions of these songs are so much better. Grind is fun, but there is something about this album that sounds a little off. Tough time for the band. Newer Phish, Joy is where it's at.
