In 1971 I was at this concert. Each of them played an accoustic set, took a break, came back as a group and "rocked out". I can still hear them introducing Neil Young. WOW!

First off "Suite Judy Blue Eyes" has always been that length. Guess it was supposed to give the feeling of arriving late. Mostly, I love the hippy vibe that jumps off this recording. Far out, man!!

Drove across a large portion of this beaytiful land to the 8-track. Now we can give our linear tracking turntable a rest. Thanks ITunes You Rock, almost as well as C - S - N & Y!

i bought the track "long time gone", but i tunes won't allow it to be played from my library for some reason, i have the song downloaded, but i can't listen to it. it keeps telling me i'm not authorized. my rating is for the service, not the song. i love the song!!!

First of all, people have to stop whining about "Suite Judy Blue Ryes" only being 33 seconds--it was that long on the original record in 1971--the bonus cd tracks are great; "King midas in Reverse" from Nash's Hollies days--wow--and of course the jams on "Southern Man" and "Carry On"--back when it was cool to be liberal--this stuff is still great--buy!!!
  • No Suite: Judy Blue Eyes on this album

Be careful. If you think you're getting Suite: Judy Blue Eyes, it's only 33 seconds long. I somehow missed that little detail but how disappointing. One of the greatest songs only for 33 seconds on a live album. Bummer.

Originally released in the 70s, this album introduced me to Crosby Still Nash and Young. I ended up following all of them into the 80s. Neil Young's early material is particularly enjoyable to hear live on this album. 4 dead in Ohio - the song that always sticks with me on this album. What did I know of the Kent State riots back then. This song introduced me to that. Now days, you could look up Kent State riots on the internet. Balanced album with steel guitars on one side and electric guitars on the other. This itunes compilation has some bonus songs that were not on the LP vinyl. Enjoy.

Must have for any CSN and CSNY fan . I prefer some of the tracks than the ones on later studio albums , Cow Girl in the Sand is one. I hope I tunes can get there hands on a copy of Wooden Nickel which is another great live album for CSNY fans

I grew up with this album. It's amazing. I was very fortunate to see CSN&Y in concert on the tour that produced this album. It was easily the best concert I've been to in my life. This album remains one of my favorites. These were four guys that the world was just getting to know when this album was released. Their talent comes roaring through in this album. It was amazing how they blended their talents---after all, they were all incredible musicians (individually) in their own right. Southern Man is mind-blowing---incredible guitar rifts! Carry On is a classic. Their acoustic material is superb. Keep in mind the quality of the recording in the 70's era doesn't measure up to today's standards, but it's still pretty good. I can't recommend this album enough.
