This is an amazing album, just wanted to let iTunes know it didn't come out in 1970, haha. It was released in 1998.

This is an awesome live album, a must for any DT fan. In my opinion Score was the best live album they have ever made. Period. But then again..that is Score...

Every song is performed in a way that you can feel these guys love playing what they're playing. I also loved how they worked Enter Sandman into Peruvian Skies, Free Bird into Take the Time and others... What a great way to pay homage to other bands...
  • An Okay Live Album

This album, after listening to their second live effort Live Scenes Form New York, leaves much to be desired. After hearing both versions of A Change of Seasons, I must say that Dream Theater soes not exercise its usually flamboiant artistry in this album. The only thing that really jumps out at me is the John Pettrucci Guitar Solo, which not only incorporates his own improvisational piece, but also blends very nicely with Liquid Tension Experiment's Paradigm Shift. Some songs, like Just Let Me Breathe, are failing to measure up to their successor. There are decent songs on this album though, like Lines In the Sand, Take the Time, as well as the grunge-like Lie, probably a very popular tune at the time. Also, Ytse Jam is a nice harkening back to the 80's Dream Theater. All in all, a decent album, but its successor is the one that truly takes the gold. Probably because it didn't have Derek Sherinan (lol).

A great album but they should have all the parts of a change of seasons,, they cut out the 2 most intense parts. The solo's are ok i guess. But Trial of tears is the best of the album. And i guess the rest is all right. (P.S: 2 things about the ytse jam, i'd like 2 share. 1st, it's not a jam, they did it on their 1st album that stupid itunes doesn't have a copy of. 2nd ytse jam spelled backwards is Majesty, the band's original name, before some people in vegas with the same band name got pissed off.
