I’ve been a Michael Franks fan since ‘your secret safe with me.’ To me he has never put out a bad album. How on green’s earth did I miss this one? Love it! My favorite is ‘my present.’ It’s sad he so underrated. He is one eclectic artist. Love his vocals and what I call ‘story telling song writing.’😎🎶
  • Best Beautiful Christmas Songs!

It is just so great to have beautiful music alternative! Not the easiest thing to do, but Michael Franks can do if anyone can! Having alternative music to the same, boring, standard christmas songs are just what I was looking for! Love Michael Franks!

This guy can write and sing in any season! Now this is Christmas sound a person will never tire of hearing over and over, regardless of whether it is december or not. Michael is so incredibly gifted. I was lucky to be turned on to his sound by a good friend in 1979 and I was hooked!

What can I say?? Michael Franks doesn't know how to make a bad album. I've got every album he's ever made (except best-of).

Come on Frank's fans? How can i be the FIRST to write a review about this winter classic. Island Christmas is Michael at his true finest with acoustic work that harkens to UCLA Royce Hall concerts with friends. Spicey, melodic, cool, and sad the album turns another page for us about Frank's immense talent and humility. The world's a better place thanks to this man and his collaborators. Peak in and get ready to smile alot. Goyo
