This is an excellent cd and if the monkees had released some of these tracks on their 5th album like some of them were recorded for, i think it could have definately been a number 1 album! Alot of people compare these missing links cds to the beatles anthology but they are totally different. With the anthology series aside from the first one, you just got alot of the same songs and different versions of the same songs. At least with the missing link series, if you are a monkees fan you get new material to hear, even if some of it is not the greatest ever recorded at least it is worth a listen. The Nesmith tracks own and i love teeny tiny gnome:-) So definately get this cd if you are a monkees fan and want to find out about more of the different areas of music the monkees were messing around with.......if you are not a monkees fan, then i would suggest tracks: 1, 5, 8, 9, 10 12, 13.....
