Move over Sinatra, step aside Dean Martin--in the back Tony Bennett, here comes Mr. Pesci!! If you can't appreciate this album, you can't appreciate a thing. Joe Pesci is acting royalty and as far as I'm concerned he can do as he pleases--all right he may not be royalty, but I actually had a good laugh with a lot of these. Let's be honest, if you're the average bear, then you're not going to like these, if your a little eccentric and can simply enjoy things, you'll find the humor. Wise Guy, Robbie Hood, Yo Cousin Vinny & Take Your Love & Shove It--are my favorites. If you don't like this album--then you can take your 'opinion' and shove it up your *MOO* :)
  • Joe Pesci makes an album

What you walk away thinking after listening to this album, above all things, is that Mr. Pesci loves music and in all it's forms. Employing big band sounds, jazz guitar licks that really just slice through you, and of course... comedy, these tracks are a surprisinly eclectic blend and I think the multilingual recordings of "Yo Cousin Vinny" can attest to this. If you take this album at face value, you truly miss the point of it. And if I have to spell it out for you, I will: there are moments on this album that are purely for comedic purposes... and Pesci is always in on the joke.

What are you people, nuts? Don't you get it? Did you not see "My Cousin Vinny"?? Here's a hint: it's a movie. Starring Joe Pesci. Who's playing a character named Vincent L. Gambini. If you watch the movie, you'd understand this cd. Cripes.

If you don't have a sense of humor don't buy this. He may not be the greatest singer but this album is hillarious.

  • Yo Cousin "Tonedeaf"

I don't know why this dude got a record deal and who would sing about their cousin with the word "Yo" in it. If I were forced to do that, I would be so embarrasing to any of my cousins in my family.
