Was introduced to some of the songs on this album, live, in Austin Texas at Woofstock. Dressed in denim coveralls, covering in tats and wearing a black baseball cap, Elle King put on a great show that day. Hard not too, really, with the catchiness and quality of these new tunes. Some may say this music isn't really country, but whatever it is, it's as fun and funky as the artist herself. Forget about labels and just enjoy!

Elle King is a powerhouse vocalist and always has a tow dipped in many different genres. With “Come Get Your Wife” she has the opportunity to showcase her strong country sensibility and its obvious that this comes from a very authentic and sincere place. Songs like Lucky, Before You Met Me, and Ohio will most certainly become part of the soundtrack of our lives for many years to come.
