Outstanding music. Outstanding lyrics. We are living in difficult times and are called to be Christ for one another. These songs inspire me. Your giftedness is balm for the soul! Thank you for sharing your extraordinary talent! It is making a difference.

Ah. This man was high on drugs trying to rob a store and got killed, which was years after holding an innocent pregnant women at gunpoint threatening to kill her children while his companions robbed her blind. Even though George Floyd reaped the cursed fruit of his evil—you guys thought it was a good idea to take a song written about Jesus Christ Himself, our good and holy Messiah—God’s Son—and twist it into a tribute to George Floyd: a woman abusing, drug abusing, thieving criminal who once threatened to kill a woman’s child inside of her stomach. Oh wait, then you guys have the audacity to fix your lips and tell Jesus to “wake up”. Treading on super, super thin ice right now. You’re doing anything for the culture right now. May God reprimand this flimsy kind of representation

These songs are rich, powerful, and grounded in humanity's need for hope. Regardless of what you believe, the music's cry is a lament for all, that we see and hear what is broken in the world and are deeply affected by it. Beautifully written, sung, and delivered - we need more music like this.

This ep is excellent. While i wish the production was a little tighter it is done with excellence. This is the gospel: calling people out when wrong is wrong (be it through preaching the word, artistic display or any form of protest) well done musicians, well done

HeyCanada - ever read the Psalms? Love the raw, honest lyrics - giving the church a vehicle to use and follow our Father's directive to weep with those who weep and to mourn and lament as we pray Thy Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven...
  • Warning this album is blasphemous

This entire album is blasphemous, especially the song Oh Sacred Neck Now Wounded which is a rewrite of the beautiful hymn Oh Sacred Head Now Wounded. The hymn was rewritten by this group to worship George Floyd. This is blasphemy. Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is the only one who should be worshiped. He is the only one who’s worthy of our praise. Avoid this album and group.

Worshipping social justice movements, not Christ. Repent.
