I’m an 80s child who liked the furs but was not really a big fan back then. My husband and I saw them in concert twice over the past few years and they’re amazing. We didn’t even know about the new CD til we heard a song in new season of “animal kingdom.” We said to each other…. “That’s the furs, but never heard that song” Bought the CD and was very impressed how good it is. The sax on “this’ll never be like love” is just wow !! So many great songs here. I can’t say enough good things about their music.

So this album is so impressive on a number of levels... First of all how unbelievable is it that a band could reunite after 30yrs to do an album. That alone is impressive. But then, you’d expect that work to be a shadow of the band you once knew... That’s definitely not the case here. This album easily stands up with anything they’ve ever done in the past, and in fact is quickly becoming on of my absolute favorites... If you’re a Furs Fan you “will not” be disappointed with this album... John Harvey Allen

I’ve been a fan of the furs since the 80s. I cant remember any one of the earlier albums having the emotional sweep of this one. Made of Rain is really of a different era-this era we are living in. It isnt a retread of past successes. It isn’t over-produced or over-earnest. Maybe I’m just happy to hear them again.

I’ve listened to this album multiple times & it’s addictive. Classic Furs sounds that makes great use of the saxophone & Richard Butler’s very distinctive voice. Do yourself a favor & listen..,

After nearly 3 decades away how rare would it be for a band to come back with the best album they ever made? This is what you get with Made Of Rain. Don’t Believe Wrong Train No One You’ll Be Mine These 4 songs are killer tracks. This material, the vocals, the production are all out of this world. BUY!!!!!!!!

I'm only 4 songs into the album and love them all! Powerful lyrics, great melodies, brilliant musicianship and Richard sounds like he's still in his 20's! Well done boys!
