Creative and forward thinking

This album got so much hate but it’s truly genius. They pushed the boundaries and ripped up the box everyone wanted to put them in. Stop telling artists how to make their art. If it’s not for you, don’t listen to it. No reason to go around sabotaging the artists. This album has something for everyone honestly and really shows Highly Suspects versatility.
Ok, trying something different...

Um, ok? I appreciate a band trying to do things different and explore creatively but everything is so different from their first two albums that each song is either a swing and a miss or a home run personally. I love Arizona because I was there live the first time they performed it, Canals is great, 16 is heart breaking to learn it's true but the rest of it is just meh.
Love it!

Horrible

I love highly suspect, but this album is horrible. This is the worst album I have ever had the misfortune to buy. This album sounds like a bad rap mixtape you would receive from a homeless person in New York for $1 or a hot dog. Do not buy this album, you will regret it.

Themes border between old news and trivial tedium. The album is scattered in style, which is fine if the styles merit the grab bag of sound, these don't. 75% forgettable and pedestrian. Sad. Once the band finds their sound this will be seen as the moment they launched to greatness or failed to hit any listenable mark. It Should also be noted that Johnny's lyrics are the worst part of this album and showcase his immaturity as a human.
Terrible

Only a couple good songs. I don’t know what happened but this is not the same band. Wrong direction.
Fell short

Highly Suspect's past two records have been phenomenal testimonies to this new generation of rock music, but this new record has been completely disappointing. For starters, some of the songs on this record get too personal and are kinda cringy and uncomfortable to listen too, such as "fly" and "16". The instrumentals are boring, needless and don't transition well into the other songs. The "rap" songs are mediocre, annoying and don't feel creative. The "rock songs", such as "snow white" and "@tddybear" are just cringy and cheesy and sound lazily written. MCID does have a few good songs, but they aren't strong enough to support the rest of this lazily written, chore of a record. Overall, MCID is a huge let down to fans, and is nothing unique to new listeners. This record will surely be forgotten.
