Linda Ronstadt is an incredible singer and her bands were simply the best. Listened to her since the early 70s and saw her in concert in 1980. Thank you to whoever finally released some "Live Linda"

A couple o'days ago I saw the Linda Ronstadt movie. I was a big fan of hers during her 70s pop/rock era. Seeing the movie definitely opened my eyes and ears to her other styles and made me appreciate and love her so much more. Thus I am going through her iTunes catalog and am very happy I see this Live in Hollywood album. A few songs to purchase.
love linda live

I originally bought it for the band introductions (track 13), but little did I know, the rest of the album has some good stuff!
If you are here just for the band introduction track, like I was, take a chance and buy the whole album!
Lovely Linda

From the 'Mad Love' Tour, originally for HBO. I taped this directly onto a cassette and carried it in my 'essentials' case for years. As the tape deteriorated, I converted to basic digital. Those original conversions have followed me through every iPod/iPhone upgrade. About 10 years ago, I found a European version of the video; sound and video quality wasn't great. I, too, wished it was in it's entirety; the original band intro led into "Poor, Poor Pitiful Me" (I also miss Warren). I saw her several times prior to this tour; she was so incredible and absolutely one of the top 5 female singers of all time, in all genres. This is way beyond 5 stars to me; I will love and respect her forever.
Perfection!

Her voice is incredible. She approached every song with such deep thought, passion and technical expertise. She was never satisfied with her performances, always thinking she could do it better. This devotion to the technical aspect of singing made her one of the best of all time.
She’s one of the best if not the best female singer ever

I just love her. She is music. I love the texture of her voice, how she can hit high notes without sounding shrill and how she understands dynamics. She can sooth you or rock you.
The way she puts her heart into her songs is so genuine, you can feel it’s coming from a real place. I can’t say enough about her. She’s amazing.
