Yes, this is something you can dance to if you're so inclined. However, the question is, does the vinyl version have any grooves in it, because these boys have clearly fallen into one or maybe two. Never the less, I do love that beefy guitar - just not for breafast, lunch, and dinner?

What a wonderul endeavor from some of the most talented musicians on the planet! Nothing short of a sound-spectacle merging old school DT harmonious prog, with their metal prog signature by which legions of DT fans and fellow musician admirers benchmark. Looking forward to seeing them again soon in Mexico City. Viva Dream Theater amigos!!

Heavy and melodic. Just a great album. The guys sound like they could rip through anything in their catalogue like the day they wrote it.
  • Sounds like my favorite album

Awesome music! I’ve been waiting for them to get back to their roots! Sounds so muck like the Black Album (my favorite!) John is sounding more like Dave Mustaine who is awesome, John I really can’t hear the bass well, the piano doesn’t sound like ice cream truck music anymore like the last few and unfortunately James voice continues to struggle but it all blends well- 5 big stars!

“The Simpsons” is an undeniable part of television history. The show was groundbreaking in many ways. Every season warranted the excited anticipation leading up to it. Other shows came and went, and some even stuck around, but “The Simpsons” never felt the need to go for cheap laughs, nor did they compromise their vision of what they wanted the show to be. They were absolutely at the top of their game - impeccably positioned to go out while still on top, thereby cementing their legendary status. Unfortunately they fell asleep at the wheel and now, more than ten exits beyond where they should have exited, here they are. At this point, they’ve shamed, and done such incredible damage to, their brand that there’s no point in stopping now. The show may as well continue until its twitching, hideous, and bloated corpse simultaneously ekes out its final gurgling, sputtering breath, while wholly losing control of its bowels in spectacular fashion. This album has a way of tugging at your emotions, through touching lyrics and sweeping instrumental performances by all, both working in well polished synchronicity. When do they record the follow up at Yonderbarn?

At Wit’s End is the Seventh Degree on Inner Turbulence. There are so many classic Dream Theater elements in this album, you’d swear these are lost tracks from previous albums. Every Dream Theater album has a few tracks that rise above the rest, Illumination Theory, Octavarium, Learning to Live, and so on. This album has so many exceptional songs it’s hard so determine which one will be that track.
