I have always loved Samantha’s work but this latest album Belle of the West is off the charts. I don’t know if there’s a new producer , engineer, or manager or what, but there is no doubt this album takes a great talent and pushes it over the top. Great songs and instruments and better than ever vocals. The dynamics of this collection is wonderful. This is a legendary piece of work.
  • Wow

I have every one of her albums since runaway. The blending of her countrified voice and her blasting blues guitar has made me a fan and now I'm seeing her go a slightly different direction. If this is country music, then I like country music, if this is blues, then I like blues.
  • Diverse, interesting, exceptional!

As artists go, Samantha Fish defies labels, despite everyone trying to put her in a box. Yes, she can shred on any guitar you put in her hands despite only playing one since the age of 15. Yes, she can sing the blues like she was born in the deep South where she frequently goes to record and recently moved. However, her depth of artistry lies in the fact that she just wants to do what comes to her next, what feels good and natural and right. She is not afraid to grow and change, even when her fans want more of the same from previous releases. To her, if you aren’t trying new things, you are stagnating - and there is no way she is going to do that! This album is a lady spreading her wings, trying out what feels good, and making beautiful music with others who also do it for the love of playing. Her songwriting has never been better and only continues to evolve. While there is little of Sam’s custom fiery licks on this album, rest assured that any live performances will still be filled with plenty of solos to assuage the guitar lovers in her fanbase. This is an album that has the ability to break Samantha’s stardom wide open. Look out world, here she comes! She’s a precious gift for you...
  • Super Talent

Samantha Fish continues to amaze with a country blues album of all things. This one shows off more of her vocal chops and she's surrounded by top flight musicians. It's different but in a great way.
  • OMG Fish is my New Favorite Musical Genius

If you never went to one of her shows, you missing somewhat of a show. This girl pulls you in with every word that she writes and I know I'm putting this out there but just as good of a guitar player as Gary Clark Jr., if not better. Sickly Super talented shredding every guitar she picks up to play and I have been waiting for this album for way too long. The songs "Need You More" and "Don't Say You Love Me" are gonna be songs that people want to hear for a long time coming. Samantha, as soon as touring through Texas, Courtney and I will be coming out to see ya! Thanks for the great live shows and your music, keep up the good work. Fish Fans For Life, Courtney and Tonya
