What about the Blood On The Tracks outtakes, Bob? I thought we’d see those, or even Desire/Street Legal stuff on the next Bootleg Series record. I have every single album except for Saved, and though I own Slow Train Coming I’ve only listened to it once, because yuck. I don’t think I’m the only one who doesn’t care for the born-again phase, which is only out-done by Dylan’s abominable run of records between 1986-1996, during which the only (relative) bright spots were Oh Mercy and some outtakes/folk songs collections.
I guess I just can’t believe there’s a market for a record made up of a bunch of mediocre live recordings of mediocre songs from a couple of mediocre albums from forty years ago.
Tremendous!

These songs sound much better than the studio versions.
Bob's voice is clear, you can understand what he is saying. He is in rare form. The band and the backup singers are first rate! This is going to keep me busy for a long time.
Great Songs, Great Bands, Great Vocals.

I have long been a fan of these, outrageously overlooked, era of Dylan. This bootleg release sets the record straight about how dar good his output was during this controversial period. Any Dylan fan who was unenthusiastic about this era should take another listen and see if it was the music or the conversion that they were judging. A great release,.
Epic Era

I love the Christian era of Bob Dylan's music. What an artist. What a lucky audience we are. We can travel through it all. Saved and Slow Train are wonderful albums. This album complements an epic era. There are other bootlegs for other epic eras to complement other epic albums. Like I said, what a lucky audience we are.

Really strong release! Very tight touring band, as you would expect from Bob. Stunning vocals from back-up singers. Good outtakes too, such as “Making a Liar Out of Me.” Happy that they released this and thanks.
