There is a certain ambience brought by the guitar synths and keys, that truly is epic. This price of art is the definition of a great concept album. Favorite tune off this Maiden album has to be the Clairvoyant! Up the irons! 🤘🏻

In my opinion this is thier BEST album. This and Somewhere in Time are simply perfect. If you like the previews of the songs dont bother over thinking it, this album is perfection!!!

This is my all time favorite Maiden album. Every song, the album as a whole is brilliant. It’s what I love about Maiden. They write great music, but as a whole, the albums are fluid. You cannot listen to one song on an album. The cohesiveness comes from all the songs working together to form a narrative. You can’t claim to be a metal fan if Maiden isn’t in your top 3 bands, period. Number one in my opinion, but I’ll give ya two to work with😜

I faintly remember sleeping over at a friends house when I got curious and looked up some Maiden albums. This one caught my attention, especially with Moonchild’s opener. The Evil That Men Do is incredible, especially with headphones. Dave and Adrian shredding their guitars always gives me a rush. This is my most favorite sounding album of the 80s, and it has a well written story(the songs have a nice mix of fast and slow tracks). These mad lads created yet another masterpiece with this one! Up the Irons!

Great follow up album to “Somewhere in Time”. It incorporated all their previous sounds and updates and evolved into “Seventh Son”. Maiden is one of the best metal bands ever! Not only still unique but countlessly influenced sooo many great bands and still do.
  • Still Great after all these years.

I remember when I was in High School and this came out people panned it because it was the first album that the band utilized synthesizers in and how dare they in a Heavy Metal song! I laughed as not only was this one of my all time favorite Maiden albums. But I believe it is their best selling album ever!
