  • No Issues Here

Unlike others, I have no issues with this album. They tried something different, or at least, they sound different to me. I personally love it, but I believe the criticism comes from the lack of Maiden’s style of hitting quick over and over again from their previous years. Still a very good album. Up the Irons!

It seems to me like “Hooks in You had “potential for a lot of air play. Happy tones. Even more than Holy Smoke. It’s more generic and radio friendly. I hope Maiden Gives us some b sides LIVE before they retire. I wish they would play whole albums live all the way through. It takes a new album fir then to do that now. They must have a really stupid out of date marketing manager (half joking) Maiden fans would love it.

I could see why some may call this a sort of “filler” album, but I honestly love it. Perhaps my favorite Iron Maiden album.

Fates Warning may be the most underrated/underappreciated song in the entire Iron Maiden catalog...Run Silent, Run Deep is equally stellar yet underrated...both songs are gems musically and possess strong lyrical compositions that provide the basis for excellent. vocal melodies...
